The Plot
Dean is passionate about baseball and training. He is only twelve years old, and before that he did not notice much neglect from other people. He was a naive and dreamy black boy, moreover, not deprived of a rich imagination. Growing up, he notices how much and hard his mother works for him. They could be considered middle class, thanks to her efforts, of course. Sometimes she could be underpaid because of her skin color, and she endured because then society had not yet achieved equality. As Dean grew up, he recalled with warmth and a touch of humor his ingenuous thoughts and touching teenage experiences. These were wonderful, naive years, not without difficulties, but, nevertheless, pleasant and quite carefree. Sometimes he laughs at older him with a bitter smile, sometimes with kindness.
