The Plot
After these nasty creatures bit Daryl on the hand, he stopped being surprised at anything. He didn’t even argue when the nuns showed him the supposedly new messiah. Let it be, the boy has the same chances for a miracle as everyone else. After all, previously they, skeptics, canceled any theory about the virus, and now there is total turmoil in the world, and everyone can only make crazy assumptions about salvation. They all travel around the world in despair, hoping that there is a safe haven somewhere, but over and over again they come across the same picture - boomers swarm in every nook and cranny, and other people who were supposed to be their allies, too embittered. There is a greater chance of running into a cruel person than a brainless and bloodthirsty brute. But such is the lot of man - even wounded, even bitten and betrayed, Daryl continues to look for a safe haven.
