The Plot

Linda and her friend grew up in the countryside. She didn't even go to school because her father hated educated women. However, this did not prevent her or her clever friend from getting married. Linda gave birth to a child from a wealthy man, but due to the difficult birth, she did not want to strengthen the bond with the baby. She was lost and received no support from her husband. Then, having met one passionate communist, the woman left her husband with his mistress and moved in. She could no longer count on an inheritance, but she proudly worked in the bookstore, feeling free. But, unfortunately, the war began. Poor Linda's house was blown up by a bomb, and her man, who had never been a coward for a second, went to fight. The woman has already managed to get tired of how much grief there is in her life. But the friend she grew up with is always ready to intercede for her.
