The Plot

Chase doesn't like meeting his co-workers either, and not because thirty years ago he stole someone's stapler, denounced his superiors, or caught someone copulating in an elevator. He avoided them, because, after seeing the killer on the threshold after his resignation, he immediately realized what terrible acquaintances he had in common with him. It is strange, of course, that all of them still care about the old man, because he made it clear that he doesn’t go anywhere else, doesn’t communicate with anyone, so long as they don’t touch him anymore. They think that he lived peacefully for thirty years of calm, but they did not take into account that the nightmares about what he had done always knew the way to him, and visited more often than the most devoted and loving grandchildren.
