The Plot
Patrick regretted a hundred times that he went as a doctor on a whaling expedition. In fact, he had no choice, but once on the ship, he told himself that he would rather go to jail than sail with such a company of scoundrels. There were rapists and former criminals who killed people literally before sailing. Patrick was not careful and did not take off his precious ring, which he brought from the last voyage. For this, he was almost left alone on a huge ice floe. Later, the man will have to deal with the rape of women, and with a broken skull, and with attempts to escape in this frosty and stormy place. He tries to protect himself from such greedy and cruel cattle, but is not going to be intimidated and keep quiet throughout the expedition. Nevertheless, there is a captain and his assistants, and they are also not particularly happy with lawlessness. Before even reaching the whales, he will have time to sip grief.
