The Plot
Elena does not want to leave the palace, and this is not surprising - the authoritarian regime is bursting at the seams, but how will the people act next? Obviously not in favor of those who sat at the very top. The woman goes into deep denial - she locked herself in her chambers and hopes that power can still be retained. However, the chancellor puts a spoke in her own wheels, and the reason for this is the developed paranoia about her precarious position. Either she rushes to pass a ridiculous and humiliating law, then she begins to bully her subjects and allies, and they doubt whether they should also turn away from the madman. Instead of strengthening what has been accumulated, it rushes to expand power, and because of this it falls into a puddle.
