But Alex continued because he found it fascinating and important, and now he is world famous. Of course, someone continues to think that he is just a charlatan who speaks beautifully about psychology, but this does not bother the rich scientist. He constantly works with large stakes, and it is the behavior of other people that helps him win. He is willing to cooperate and be recruited, and does not reveal what he looks at to reach his conclusions. Yes, it's irrational, but who cares if everything works great?
