The Plot

Jasper has no friends at the university but he has long since outgrown this stage. And all because he is no longer a shy outcast student but a seasoned man. Everybody listens to his opinion but no one would like to call him to visit or give him a lift. His speech is too direct, and he allows himself to offend students in front of everyone and harshly. He argues with the dean but still doesn't lose his place. How much people would gloat if they knew that he lives with a tender mother. She overprotects him, constantly gives advice and always worries. But her son is a criminologist; he doesn't care about the lack of a hat in the cold. He is in demand, unsociable and a bit of a genius. However, what difference does it make between character and what is unpleasant for others in his society. He is paid for knowledge and not for friendliness.
