She needed to find a guide who would introduce her to the “elite”, and then Maxine had to try not to lose face. Be self-sufficient, but not too cold. Charming, but don’t jump out of your pants trying to get anyone to make friends with her. And, most importantly, train yourself to have perfect etiquette! But not too prim. As a woman “improves,” she finds herself in many funny situations. It doesn’t matter that she’s a little girl now – she'll become one of the socialites!
