The Plot
Although Gale trained a lot, persistently and continuously to fly the plane in risky and unpredictable conditions, he was not prepared for the fact that in practice everything would be a couple of times worse and more tragic. He was a volunteer and wanted his skills to be useful against Germany, but the first sortie turned out to be a near disaster. It seemed that everything was against them - the brutally ferocious weather conditions, and the commander, whose mind was clouded by sudden health problems. Miraculously, the recruit did not crash, but his soul was heavy - he did not bring any benefit, he only watched as neighboring planes were shot down and dragged down to the hard burial ground. Will he be able to take the helm a second time?
