The Plot
How hard it is to grow old and «retire» when you are oppressed by thoughts of your impotence. If no heir is left, then such strife begins that everybody just wants to run away. Rhaenys had been queen for only three months, although women had not been allowed to take on such a role before. But what was she to do when the three brothers lay in the grave? She still did not really have time to please the people and get married, as uprisings had already begun to rise. Moreover, they began to arrange close courts. Not only did they goad other nobles, but they also tried to steal relics such as dragon eggs. Instead of staying on the throne and giving wise advice that will improve life, everyone prefers to bite into each other's throats. The position of the nobility becomes so precarious and miserable, and this inevitably leads to devastation.
