The Plot
Frasier has lost everything he held on to in his life - his father died, a twenty-year relationship has also slipped through his fingers, and his son, a firefighter, is now somewhere far away, busy with his adult affairs. And yet, the man clings to this last thread - he will improve the father-son relationship, even if at first it will be awkward and strained. The boy is angry with him for not coming to his grandfather's funeral - but everyone has their own good reasons for so rudely ignoring the dead man. Yes, and he is still offended by the past, although his father believes that he did it fairly. Just think - leaving Harvard, getting involved with some problematic girl - of course, he scolded his son harshly and rudely. Fraser still gives lectures, and cannot get rid of his annoyance that his capable boy is not among the audience.
