The Plot

In Treatment - PlotEven high-class and elite therapists have their own mentors, and this is absolutely normal. Paul has not seen his scientific and spiritual patroness for ten years but he needs to turn to her again for advice. For a long time he received patients at home and practiced according to his own method. But then it began to seem to him that he was doing everything wrong, and, most importantly, he stopped understanding why he was treating people. His patient confesses her love for him. And, it would seem, it was worth just redirecting her to another specialist and stop trying to rectify the situation. But no, Paul is getting deeper and deeper into something tangled and ambiguous, unethical. Although she also has sex with his other patients, Paul thinks he loves her. He has long crossed all personal boundaries that harm both him and the people who trusted Paul.
